What to expect
The skiff that is used is an 18ft Chittum 12 degree with Yamaha F70 and can accommodate two anglers taking turns up on the bow. During tarpon season, a “spider cage” is used with a net around it for line management while keeping you locked in for the next shot. Because of the 12 degree deadrise, this boat has a very nice ride while keeping everyone comfortable and mostly dry. Whether we are on the beach targeting tarpon, or in the back country stalking tailing redfish, this boat can provide those opportunities!
All the rods that are provided are high end gloomis, sage, and custom one piece fly rods with high end tibor reels to match. All fly lines are high end floating and intermediate lines provided by scientific angler.
Drinks and ice will be provided, but snacks and lunch are up to anglers.
Meeting point will be arranged when booking with guide. But will pick up in Boca Grande and surrounding areas.
